What programs does Maryland Hall sell tickets to?

The Maryland Hall Box Office sells tickets to all Annapolis Opera, Live Arts Maryland/Annapolis Chorale, and all MD Hall Presents performances. The MD Hall Box Office can be reached at 410-263-5544.

What payment types do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, Travelers Check, Personal Check with ID, Cash and MD Hall Gift Certificates.

Is your building handicap accessible?

Maryland Hall is handicap accessible. There are handicap parking spaces in Lot C and in Lot D behind the building. Near each lot is an adjacent ramp that leads to 3 entrances – the North entrance that faces Carraway Lane and 2 entrances in the back of the building. Lot C is closest to the elevator which is located inside the building at the North entrance (facing Carraway Lane).

Do you have group rates?

Group rates are available for many events at Maryland Hall for groups of 10 or more patrons to a single performance. Please call the Box Office directly to inquire about group pricing for the event of your choice and to purchase group tickets. A $10 service fee per group order is applied.

Is there a service fee for tickets?

Maryland Hall charges a $6 service fee per ticket for mail or will call. All ticket prices include ticket fees unless otherwise noted. For Group and subscription orders, a $10 service fee per order is applied. Tickets to shows sold at Maryland Hall by other Box Offices (Rams Head, Symphony, Ballet) are subject to each Box Office’s own policies.

Do you accept third party tickets?

Ticket are not transferable. Maryland Hall does not accept third party ticketing as entry to events at Maryland Hall. Only tickets purchased through the Maryland Hall Box Office, at Marylandhall.org, or one of the Box Offices listed above are valid for entry. Please contact the Box Office with any questions at 410-263-5544.

Are food and beverages allowed in the theatre?

Under current COVID-19 protocols, food and drinks are not allowed inside the theatre. For most shows, the Maryland Hall Bar is open for service on the first floor. Drinks must be consumed on the first floor.  

Food is typically not allowed inside the theatre. Some exceptions are made for films or selected events. 

There are vending machines located on the 1st floor. The Cafe at Maryland Hall, on the 1st floor, is typically open for performances through intermission. This is subject to change. The Cafe keeps their facebook page updated with weekly hours.

Does Maryland Hall ever sell, give away or share patron information?

Maryland Hall protects its patron information and does not share names, addresses, emails or any other data with any individual or entity. Patron data is used solely for marketing and fundraising purposes related to Maryland Hall programs.      

Can I rent the theatre or a room at Maryland Hall?

Maryland Hall is currently not accepting applications to rent our main theatre. To inquire about booking any other space at Maryland Hall, you must complete the room rental request form. Please do not call about rental inquiries.

Can I exchange tickets? Or get a refund?  

Tickets can often be exchanged but no refunds are offered for any performance. Exchanges are subject to availability. Please contact the Box Office by phone at 410-263-5544.

Can I bring my camera to take pictures?

Most performances do not allow photography.  For students recitals, please check with the company or instructor.

What age do you have to be to be considered a senior? Child? 

Child ages are 10 and under. All ages must have a ticket for entry to the theatre. For patrons 65 years and older, senior prices are available for select performances. 

What happens if a performance is canceled due to inclement weather or some other circumstance?

Each presenter determines the refund policy for their individual performance. MD Hall's Box Office will communicate policies to customers in as timely a fashion as possible. 

How do I buy a gift certificate? 

You can purchase gift certificates online here or by calling the MD Hall Guest Services Center at 410-263-5544. Gift certificates may be used toward classes, tickets, memberships and art purchases.

How do I redeem my gift certificate? 

The recipient can redeem the gift certificate by contacting the Guest Services Center at 410-263-5544, in person at Maryland Hall (M, W, F 11:00 - 4:00 pm) or you can use it to make purchases on the Maryland Hall website. Click here for more information.

When should I arrive for the show?

We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes before show time. If you are picking up your tickets at will call before the show, we recommend you arrive 45 minutes before show time.

Do you have a lost and found? 

Our lost and found is located in our main office on the second floor. You may call 410-263-5544 to find out about items in our lost and found or to report a missing item.
