Accessible Parking and Entrances

Designated accessible parking spaces are in Lot C and Lot D behind the building. Near each lot is an adjacent ramp that leads to 3 entrances with automatic doors; the North entrance on the side of the building closest to Carraway Lane and 2 entrances in the back of the building. Lot C is closest to the elevator which is located on the first floor just inside the building at the North entrance (closest to Carraway Lane).

Purchasing Accessible Seating

There is accessible seating in both the orchestra and the balcony of the Main Theatre and throughout the Bowen Theatre. For accessible seating tickets and other specific questions, please contact the Guest Services Center and we will be happy to accommodate your needs. 

Assisted Listening Devices in Theatre

Hearing assisted devices are available before and during an event, no advance notice is necessary. Please contact the Box Office and the House Manager will be happy to provide a device if needed.

For Hearing Impaired

If you are in need of a Sign Interpreter, please contact the Guest Services Center at least 10 days prior to your event. We will be happy to provide one for you.

Please note, some shows provide sub-titles. Feel free to inquire with the Guest Services Center if your event provides sub-titles.

Sensory-Friendly Programming

On occasion, Maryland Hall has provided space for the Musical Autist Troupe to perform sensory-friendly performances. The Musical Autist Troupe is also part of our Education program, inclusive to youth and adults with and without disabilities. Please visit their website for more details.

Maryland Hall’s interior signs are ADA compliant with Braille.
