On Stage & In the Theatre: Live Performances & Film at Maryland Hall
If you’re seeking live entertainment in Annapolis, Maryland, and the greater region, look no further than Maryland Hall. Experience world class entertainment in an intimate venue (with free parking!) without having to travel far. Long treasured by Anne Arundel County residents, the variety of live performances and events at MD Hall attract audiences from far and wide. With several flexible performance spaces and an expansive outdoor campus, four Resident Companies, partnerships with Rams Head Presents and the Annapolis Film Festival, and intentional programming of our own, a diverse lineup of live events and film screenings help fulfill our mission of Art for All.
Resident Companies
Founded as a place to offer the caliber of the performing arts scenes of Washington, DC, and Baltimore, Maryland, in Annapolis’ backyard, MD Hall’s Resident Companies present a classic repertoire, often with a contemporary twist, in our Main Theatre. Resident Companies include Annapolis Opera, Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, Ballet Theatre of Maryland and Live Arts Maryland’s Annapolis Chorale.
Rams Head Presents
Through a unique partnership, we’re proud to share our stage with Rams Head. Rams Head brings numerous national and world touring artists to MD Hall each year. Past concerts have included Melissa Etheridge, The Mavericks, Rick Wakeman and India Arie...just to name a few. For every ticket sold, Rams Head donates $1 back to Maryland Hall.
Maryland Hall Presents
In commitment to presenting diverse programming, MD Hall creates intentional programming for all audiences.
Movies @ Maryland Hall
With DCP technology and state of the art screens, our well equipped tech team transforms our theatres into a night at the movies. Catch a pre-release film curated by the Annapolis Film Festival’s Film Society in the black box Bowen Theatre or watch an impactful film followed by a panel discussion in the Main Theatre.
Community Events
Our stage and performance spaces are shared with our community. You may bear witness to a Mayoral inauguration, watch a debate between local political candidates, attend a symposium or speaker series, or experience the debut of a community led musical.
See you soon at the Hall!
