Sarah Tippin, Art as a Business & Ceramics
Sarah Tippin is a potter and the founder of Joyful Clay, LLC, a local pottery studio here in Annapolis. She received her Master’s Degree in Professional Studies in the Business of Art and Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2021. Pottery is her way of connecting to humanity and the world around her.
Sarah uses nature and her life as inspiration and combines it with her love of illustration to make pottery that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is useful.
Running a business is challenging, rewarding work, and my goal is this course is to help people realize they have what it takes to not only start, but grow their own business and legacy as an artist.
