I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and began my ballet studies at the Cora Quick Ballet Studio at the age of five. I continued with my studies through my twenties adding jazz and tap dance along the way.  After graduating from Law School, practicing law in Denver, and raising a family, I found myself back in the ballet studio studying with Barbara Owen , Founder of the Ballet for Life program at Maryland Hall.  I have been teaching the Ballet for Life Basics I and Basics II classes for over eight years and have really enjoyed introducing ballet to new students and helping those with ballet experience reacquaint with the art form.

Even if only for an hour during their busy week, the Ballet for Life classes offer students a chance to focus solely on ballet movement, allowing them to take a step away from life’s hectic pace. Students often comment that this hour is one of the highlights of their week.
